No prerequisites! Dz Lingo is designed for complete beginners. Modules are progressive, from discovery to advanced level.
Algerian Arabic (darija) is the dialect spoken daily in Algeria. It differs from Modern Standard Arabic (MSA) in pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar. Dz Lingo teaches the authentic dialect, the one Algerians actually use.
Each completed lesson earns you points. Your progress is tracked by theme and module. You can view your detailed statistics in the Progress section.
Yes! Dz Lingo is available in French and English. You can change the language in your profile settings.
We use a simplified transliteration system. Numbers represent specific Arabic sounds: 3 = ع (ayn), 7 = ح (ha), 9 = ق (qaf), 5 = خ (kha).
